- Missed lessons, or lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded or rescheduled.
- Lessons cancelled with more than 24 hours notice (and more is appreciated) will be offered a makeup lesson.
- In the event that the instructor is unable to teach a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances, a make-up lesson will always be offered.
- Make-up lessons are redeemable within the current semester (September – December, January – June).
- Lesson payments are due on the 1st of each month.
- Missed lessons will not be subtracted from current or future months' invoices.
- If you are late to pay your invoice and a lesson is missed, do not self-edit and underpay your overdue invoice.
- If no communication is given to convey lateness and an ETA, the instructor will wait for the first 10 minutes of a student’s lesson before the student is assumed absent, and the lesson is lost.
- If multiple members of your family have back to back lessons, clear communication must be provided if one member misses a lesson, and the following intend to attend. If no communication is given, the following family members' lessons will also be lost.
- If you or a member of your household are contagiously ill or have experienced any symptoms of illness in the past 48 hours, do not come to the lesson. This includes coughing, sore throat, sneezing, sniffly or runny noses, fever, nausea/vomiting, or diarrhea. This is of course excluding chronic non-contagious health issues. If location permits and at least 4 hours notice is provided, that lesson can be held on zoom during your reserved time slot. Otherwise it will fall into the aforementioned 24/hr cancellation policy.
- One months’ notice is required to terminate lessons, or to take a month or more off outside of the scholastic year's schedule (winter, spring, and summer breaks). This does not apply to trial-lessons.
